About me

Presentation:
I have been working as a fulltime freelance translator for over six years with language pairs
English-Dutch and Dutch-English. Because Dutch is my mother tongue, I prefer to translate into Dutch.
I am very experienced in the legal, financial and (general) medical sector, but have sufficient experience in most other fields. Especially when it comes to manuals for electrical equipment (+ 100.000 words, mainly about cameras, DVD devices, televisions, mobile phones etc.).
TRANSLATION RATE per source word:
0,07 euro (0.085 USD) GENERAL TEXTS
0,08 euro (0.10 USD) MEDICAL, LEGAL and FINANCIAL TEXTS 

Apart from my translation work, I work as an editor and proofreader for
various magazines, translation services, publishers and other companies in the Netherlands
and worldwide. I work as senior editor for two Dutch glossy magazines and for a medical paper.
